Adaptation to climate change seems inevitable. Are you thinking about it?

Gopalgram is frequently flooded by the Ganges and Jamuna rivers. Like thousands of small low GHGs emitter communities in the developing world this corner of Earth is doomed to be impacted by disastrous effects of global warming. Adaptation to climate change seems inevitable. Industrialized countries are preparing for the consequences of unsustainable development; their domestic agendas go beyond mitigation to include policies for adaptation.

Here is an article by Science and Development Network on Adaptation in Developing Countries [http://www.scidev.net/en/features/climate-change-adapting-is-crucial-too.html#]

At the eve of the COP15: Are we developing countries thinking about this? Are our positions and interests clearly defined? Can we defend them?

If you have access to e-mail, or postal service mail, demand the political leaders in your home country to revel their position and interest on the Climate Change Negotiation Agenda for Copenhagen.

If your government positions and interests are clearly defined it must be known by citizenry. If positions and interests are not defined, send your statement.

Do not wait any longer. Your country’s voice must be stated.
